See what your photos
say about you
Photos and videos can contain GPS locations, camera details, and other hidden information. ExiFox lets you see those tags, edit them, or remove them before sharing. It is free, and your files stay on your Mac.
01 / Features
Read, edit, or remove
the details in your files
Check what a file contains before sharing it, or add the copyright and contact details you want it to carry.
Inspect metadata
Read EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and GPS tags in photos and videos. ExifTool is included, so there is nothing else to install.
Add files your way
Drag files in, paste them, or use the file picker. Thumbnails help you keep track of which file you are editing.
Find and edit tags
Browse tags by group or search for a field. Review your changes, save them, or revert them before writing to the file.
Remove private details
Clear location and camera metadata from one file or a batch before posting online or sending files to someone else.
Reuse common edits
Save copyright, contact details, and other changes as a preset. Export presets as JSON, YAML, or TOML and drop them back in to apply them.
Keep favorite tags handy
Mark frequently used fields as favorites and filter the list to find them quickly.
